So here I am. I’m a caregiver. My spouse does nothing except eat sleep and drink Mexican Coca Cola. Gratitude is expressed for services rendered, and love is expressed more times than I can count. I should be happy.

What is sad is although my spouse knows who I am, sometimes I am asked What day is this? Or I am told I don’t know where I live. We picked up our daughter at the airport and our daughter was asked Am I your aunt?
